Citizens’ Telecommunications and Technology Advisory Board (CTTAB)2009–2010

Appointed by Mayor Greg Nickels, I served with nine other citizens to study and make recommendations to the Mayor and the City Council on issues of community-wide interest relating to telecommunications and technology, including cable television access, technology access, and regulatory issues within the City’s authority regarding wired and wireless communication systems.

Gnomedex2007–2010

As the Gnomedex “Combobulator” I worked with event host Chris Pirillo on nearly every level of this prominent technology conference, from planning and logistics to operations to web content development.

Seattle Podcasting Network2005–2009

Co-organized this monthly meetup of podcasters, vodcasters, and screencasters.

Seattle Mind Camp2005–2008

Founding organizer of this twice-annual 24-hour “unconference” for Seattle-area technologists.
